To celebrate Christmas, Zambia Air Force Commander COLIN BARRY elevated one officer from the level of Lieutenant to Captain and six senior aircraft crew members to the rank of Corporal.
CHIBUYE SHILA, NATASHA SALIMU, PRINCE CHISANGA, KELVIN MBEWE, and GRACE LUNGU have all received promotions.
This, according to Lieutenant General BARRY, is done to encourage and honor personnel who remain committed to their jobs even on holidays.
He said that even while the nation celebrates Christmas, security is still of utmost significance, which is why there must always be officers on duty.
Lieutenant General BARRY advised the ZAF officers to keep up their hard work in serving the country while delivering Christmas hampers to the ZAF officers who were on duty.
ZAF headquarters, ZAF Twin Palm, ZAF Mount Eugenia, ZAF Lusaka Central Equipment Depot, Ibex Aviation Town, and ZAF Logistics Command were among the Lusaka locations the ZAF Commander visited.
