Daliso, the son of President Edgar Lungu, went before the investigative team in Lusaka this morning and demanded that his seized assets, which are now being investigated, be released.
Police Investigations Team is looking into Saliod Traders Limited in connection with having custody of items that are allegedly the proceeds of crime, according to police deputy spokesperson Danny Mwale.
Daliso, 35, he claimed, is thought to be one of the directors.
“On February 9, 2023 around 10:00 hours, Daliso Lungu appeared before the Investigations Team in Lusaka demanding the release of the seized assets which are currently under investigations,” he said.
Mr Mwale however said the investigation team advised that the matter is still under investigations and that he will be communicated to as soon as investigations are concluded.
