Patrick Kangwa has been named Secretary to the Cabinet by President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA, pending approval by the National Assembly.
Additionally, Dr. OLIVER KALABO has been appointed by the President to the position of Deputy Secretary to the Cabinet for Administration.
The appointments were announced by Presidential Spokesperson ANTHONY BWALYA to ZNBC news in Lusaka this evening.
In addition, Mr. BWALYA claims that, pending approval by the National Assembly, the President has selected TOM SHAMAKAMBA as Director General of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
President HICHILEMA has chosen Lawyer MWANGALA ZALOUMIS as Chairperson, ALI SIMWINGA as Vice Chairperson, and MCDONALD CHIPENZI as Commissioner at the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ).
The National Assembly must approve the appointments before they become official.
In addition, Mr. BWALYA said that CAROLINE SOKONI has been named as a High Court judge by the President, pending approval by the National Assembly.
