After losing against Burundi 47-21, the Zambia Under 17 boys team has suffered a second loss at the ongoing International Handball Federation – IHF – Continental Championship.

Just a few hours before to today’s setback, Guinea handed the team a 46–19 defeat in their opening game.

And Head of Delegation JOSAB CHANGA explained the outcome by saying that the opposition used over-aged players.

According to CHANGA, Zambia and Zimbabwe will jointly file a formal complaint about the situation with the Confederation of African Handball and the International Handball Federation.

Prior to the start of the competition, the general secretary of the Handball Association of Zambia claims he raised concerns about age-related cheating and was informed that players would undergo an MRI scan.
