Unrestricted maize export, according to Agriculture Minister REUBEN MTOLO, is a threat to the nation’s food stocks.
According to Mr. MTOLO, this is due to the fact that the current stock is barely enough for the needs of the nation.
Since then, he has urged Zambians to refrain from exporting maize illegally.
Mr. MTOLO, a member of parliament from Chipata Central, was speaking to journalists during an interview in the province of Eastern.
