THABO KAWANA, the director spokesperson for the Ministry of Communication and Media, has urged the public to exercise caution while purchasing real estate because some persons are currently selling off homes and plots that they acquired using profits of crime.
According to Mr. KAWANA, certain properties were obtained dishonestly and are currently being sold at lower prices.
Mr. KAWANA observes that the government has made strides in the battle against corruption, as evidenced by the fact that numerous defendants have appeared in court and that investigations have advanced in other instances.
He was speaking in Lusaka during a press conference.
