A month ago, media personality and businesswoman Minnie Dlamini sat down with 702 radio host Relebogile Mabotja to discuss her divorce from the father of her son, Quinton Jones.
The Honeymoon actress also had an interview with seasoned broadcaster DJ Fresh on his podcast What A Week (WAW) earlier this month and debunked an old rumour about her past relationship with Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune. She also made it crystal clear that she is not looking for love.
However, according to the rumour mill, the mom-of-one is reportedly dating again. Last week, Zimoja reported that she is reportedly in a relationship with rapper Yanga Chief.
According to a source, the pair was spotted being cosy at slain rapper AKA’s listening session that was held in Bryanston before his untimely death. They were reportedly again spotted in March at The Honeymoon movie premiere — a Minnie stars in.
When asked about the rumours, Minnie said that she and Yanga are close friends and have been for years. In addition, she said he used to date one of her girls.

1. He is 35 years old
Yanga Chief, born Yanga Sakhumzi Ntshakaza, is 35 years old.hecwas born on 17 October 1987.
2. The rapper is from the Eastern Cape
The Utatakho hitmaker is from the Eastern Cape in Mthata.
3. Yanga Chief was rumoured to be dating Khanya once
In 2018, DJ, actress and former YOtv presenter Khanya Mkangisa denied that she and Yanga were dating.
“I mean that’s not…I mean you guys even had a picture. I mean, who is that? That can never be a real thing, but I know him hey. We aren’t very good friends, we’re cool, we know each other,” Khanya told defunct entertainment news show, Trending SA.
In the same year, Zalebs shared a video of Amapiano musician Sizwe Alakine (aka Reason) teasing Khanya by singing the hook to one of Yanga Chief’s songs before ending off with the phrase “It’s Khanya Chief!”.
The media personalities were alleged to have started dating in 2017.
4. AKA’s bestie
Besides his music, many people also associate Yanga Chief with the late AKA — real name Kiernan Jarryd Forbes. The two musicians had been friends for 17 years before AKA’s murdered in Durban on 10 February.
Yanga Chief paid a moving tribute at his friend’s memorial service at the Sandton Convention Centre on 17 February, saying he always left him feeling motivated and inspired. The pair worked closely together in the music industry and have hit songs Jika and Run Jozi, featuring K.O.
5. ‘Love & Hip Hop SA’ cast member
The producer and musician is also a reality TV star. Yanga Chief told TshisaLIVE that AKA was the reason he decided to stop shying away from fame and join the cast of MTV’s Love & Hip Hop SA.
“There’s a part of myself that has always been fighting fame. The people were around, superstars such as AKA, always said I should go harder.”
