In order to increase trade between the two nations, the Chinese Chamber of Commerce and the Zambian Chamber of Commerce and Industry—ZACCI—have signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
According to SITUMBEKO MUSOKOTWANE, acting minister of commerce, trade, and industry, Zambia continues to face a number of difficulties in the business sector, particularly in the supply chain.
According to Dr. MUSOKOTWANE, the collaboration between the two organizations will improve Zambia’s industrial performance.
In an address delivered on his behalf at a ZACCI Gala Dinner in Lusaka yesterday night by Minister of Green Economy and Environment COLLINS NZOVU, the Minister also praised ZACCI for its ongoing work to revitalize and add value to the manufacturing sector. Additionally, HUANG JIBO, Executive President of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Zambia, expressed confidence that the MoU will enhance cooperation between the two organizations.
ZACCI President CHABUKA KAWESHA stated that his organization will continue to support initiatives that improve Zambia’s visibility, competitiveness, and economic and social climate.
