After only dating for six-month, South African singer and guitarist Bulelwa Mkutukana, best known by her stage name, Zahara got engaged to her fiancé Mpho Xaba and is looking forward to walking down the aisle in November.
Zahara recently told ZiMoja that her fiancé Mpho Xaba has continued to keep her smiling from ear to ear since he proposed to her at the beginning of March.
“I have been so happy, I won’t even lie. He makes me happy. Nothing has changed since the proposal, he has been so consistent,” Zahara was quoted as saying. During Zahara’s engagement, her assistant, Lisa was said to have helped Xaba surprise the Loliwe hitmaker. To get Zahara dolled up and out of the house, Lisa told a little white lie and told Zahara that she was scheduled to attend a podcast interview. Before going down on one knew, Xaba was nervous that the Ndiza hitmaker would not accept his proposal, however, everything was already in order. The ring was bought and the decorations were already in place.
“It’s a beautifully customized proposal ring. I know money is not important, but he [Xaba] paid R10 000 for the ring. We got flowers and covered the ring in a big balloon written ‘Will You marry Me?” Lisa reportedly added.
Zahara is engaged for the third time around, The South African previously reported. She was last engaged in 2019 to a man known as Ian Sibiya, The Citizen reported. She was also said to have met her current fiancé through a mutual friend a few months ago. Xaba is successful in his own right and works as an Engineer, Briefly reported. The two fell so deeply in love with one another and things quickly escalated and one thing led to another within just a few months.
