A student from Zambia from MOROCCO perished in the Mediterranean Sea.
SAMUEL BANDA perished after going swimming with six other Zambian students, according to CHISELWA KAWANDA, Senior Corporate Communication Officer for the Higher Education Loans and Scholarships Board (HELSB).
According to Ms. KAWANDA, Mr. BANDA was a final-year architecture student attending Marrakech University.
She has informed ZNBC News that the Moroccan emergency administration has since recovered Mr. BANDA’s body.
The Family of Mr. BANDA has been informed of the passing and the day the body would be returned to Zambia, according to Ms. KAWANDA.
She stated that the death of Mr. BANDA, who was sponsored by GRZ, grieved the Higher Education Loans and Scholarships Board.
