The fourth mobile network provider in Zambia has begun operations.
Zedmobile will be the business name for Beeline Telecoms.
Additionally, FELIX MUTATI, Zambia’s minister of technology and science, has asked the country’s newest mobile network provider to assist close the digital gap by offering reasonably priced services everywhere.
Mr. Mutati, who attended the launch, expressed confidence in Zedmobile’s ability to provide services for individuals who have not been connected.
The mobile provider, according to him, need to strive to provide a network that would support digital banking solutions for financial inclusion.
Additionally, Zedmobile Chairman KELVIN HAMBWEZYA stated that his organization will run in accordance with the Government’s aim of using mobile network operations to contribute to sustainable development.
