The UPND has been congratulated by the Zambia Must Prosper Party for winning the three ward by-elections in Chililabombwe, Serenje, and Lupososhi.
However, RUTH CHIKASA, the party’s general secretary, has urged the government to carry out election reforms that will strengthen democracy.
FRANK BWALYA, spokesman for the Socialist Party, declared that despite temporary defeats in the recently concluded three local government elections, the revolutionary spirit will not be dampened.
