A 13-year-old girl who is his girlfriend’s niece was sexually abused by a CONGOLESE “Pastor” who is now on the run.
Pastor Mika Mapalo, the defendant, was left with the victim in the Lubuto township of Ndola by his lover, the victim’s aunt, and it just so happened that he took advantage of the circumstance to defile the victim.
According to Copperbelt Commanding Officer Peacewell Mweemba, the incident took place last Saturday at around 22:00.
“Brief facts are that the victim went to Ndola from Luapula province. She started staying with her aunt and it so happened that on the fateful day, her aunt was not at home and the girl had remained with the suspect who is the boyfriend to her Aunt. The suspect took advantage of the absence of the victims aunt and took the girl to one of the rooms within the house where he had unlawful canal knowledge with her,” he said.
Mr Mweemba said after the act, the suspect ran away.
“The victim went to inform her other aunt, who later reported the matter to Police at Lubuto police Post. Information received is that the suspect is believed to have run away to the Democratic Republic of Congo,” he said.
