According to the Ministry of Health in Chirundu, the region is one of 17 districts that is having difficulty reaching the over 75% Covid-19 vaccination rate.
HERBERT LUHANGA, the director of health for Chirundu District, revealed that the Ministry of Health has subsequently started a comprehensive 10-day Covid-19 immunization campaign.
The effort aims to vaccinate all eligible members of the public.
According to Dr. LUHANGA, Chirundu district’s Covid-19 immunization coverage is currently at 72.5% and is anticipated to reach 95% by the end of the 10-day campaign, according to ZANIS.
