250 desks have been given to Chibolya Secondary School in Samfya District, Luapula Province, by the Department of Education.
This complies with a presidential decree that by the end of 2023, no learner must be seated on the floor.
In the meantime, the Kalabo Town Council has allocated 3.6 million Kwacha for the construction of infrastructure at various public institutions in the region.
The local authority and constituency office sent a team of representatives to inspect more than 12 project construction sites spread across six wards, under the direction of Kalabo Central Member of Parliament CHINGA MIYUTU.
