The Men’s Under-20 National Football Team has been urged by Sports Minister ELVIS NKANDU to win the Africa Cup of Nations in order to guarantee their place in the World Cup.
NKANDU asserts that it is crucial for all teams to follow suit because the nation has grown accustomed to competing internationally after the Copper Queens won a spot last year.
He claims that the government will do its share to make sure the team has enough assistance as it gets ready for the competition, which begins in Egypt this month.
And NKANDU told ZNBC News that the players must put up their best effort because everyone is looking to the team to repeat the 2017 U20 AFCON winning side.
