President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has been praised for removing the death sentence and the crime of criminal defamation of the president by former vice president ENOCK KAVINDELE.
According to Mr. KAVINDELE, the abolishment raises Zambia’s human rights reputation on the global stage.
And well-known Lusaka attorney SAKWIBA SIKOTA says the Ministry of Justice should provide more information on what happens to those who receive a death sentence.
