When the Ministry of Home Affairs’ Anti-Human Trafficking Department received laptops and books from the UN Office on Drugs and Crime, Mr. Matembo made this statement.
Additionally, BEATRICE MUTALI, the UN Resident Coordinator, stated that enhanced tactics must be implemented to stop human trafficking.
Human trafficking and migrant smuggling, according to Ms. Mutali, are dynamic crimes that, if left unchecked, quickly get worse.
Because migrant smugglers’ and human traffickers’ tactics are constantly evolving, she claimed, criminal justice professionals must continually upskill and improve.
