DJ Sbu reminisces on being sacked from Metro FM as he celebrates the 10th birthday of his Energy drink brand, Mofaya. Taking to social media, the South African DJ shared a photo of the newspaper with the headline, “MoFired! Metro FM shows troubled DJ Sbu the door. He captioned the post with, “HAPPY 10TH BIRTHDAY @mofaya_official #bornforpurpose.
In 2015, the businessman was axed by the station for promoting his energy drink Mofaya at the Metro FM Music Awards which was beamed live on SABC1. Sbu’s story has inspired people, including his fans.
