Guidelines for submitting pay proposals for consideration by state institutions and organs have been published by the Emoluments Commission.
One of the rules put out by MWAMBA CHANDA, vice chair of the Emoluments Commission, was that pay offers must be flexible, varied, and of a lawful nature in order to be taken into consideration.
In the second quarter of the year under review, the Commission will inform the considered authority whether or not the compensation request has been approved, according to Justice CHANDA.
She continued by saying that state institutions and agencies are now required to hire personnel for their expanding structures in addition to renewing contracts that are about to expire with respect to current remuneration and service conditions.
