The World Vision Institute praised President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA for his dedication to the battle against corruption during today’s State of the Country Address in parliament.
Corruption, according to executive director ISAAC CHITIBWI, has a detrimental effect on social and economic growth.
President HICHILEMA and Mr. Chitibwi concur that cases of corruption must be prosecuted quickly.
He was speaking today in LUSAKA during an interview with ZNBC News.
Mr. Chitibwi has also welcomed President Hichilema’s appeal to youth to abstain from vices like crime and alcohol misuse.
The prospective leaders of tomorrow, he continued, must defend moral principles.
