According to the UPND-ALLIANCE Council of Presidents, the UPND’s victory in the by-elections is evidence of the public’s faith in President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA and his administration.
All of the opposition political parties that took part in the aforementioned by-elections were thanked by UPND Alliance Spokesperson DANIEL SHIMUNZA for their vigorous competition.
He adds that the UPND-ALLIANCE is dedicated to seeing that a modernized Electoral Commission of Zambia is set up as soon as possible.
The UPND Alliance Spokesperson also advised newly elected council members to put the needs of the country ahead of their own personal and professional interests.
