The contract between TFM Holdings Limited and the Ministry of Health for the establishment and furnishing of seven Covid-19 hospitals in Zambia with a capacity of 150 beds has been terminated.
The termination is in accordance with the general terms of the contract, which specify that it may be discontinued for convenience, according to Ministry of Health Permanent Secretary Technical Services LACKSON KASONKA.
Any fees for any action by the corporation are useless on the part of the government for liability, according to Professor KASONKA in a letter to the chairperson of TFM Holdings.
