National Democratic Congress -NDC- President SABOI IMBOELA has pleaded not guilty to the defamation of State House Media Director CLAYSON HAMASAKA.
Ms. IMBOELA took plea before LUSAKA Resident Magistrate SILVIA MUNYINYA.
Magistrate MUNYINYA has set December 26, for mention in the matter.
Mr. HAMASAKA last month filed a defamation suit against Ms. IMBOELA for publishing defamatory remarks on him.
He is seeking damages and an injunction to restrain Ms. IMBOELA from further publishing defamatory words on him.
He has claimed that on a number of days but between September 9th and September 13th, Ms. IMBOELA allegedly published and uttered defamatory words against him on facebook, twitter and WhatsAPP.
