From certain stores in Lusaka’s Downtown, police have seized counterfeit T-shirts and shoes valued about 500,000 Kwacha.
A number of fake government payment vouchers and Ministry of Education attendance registrations that were being peddled on the streets of Lusaka have also been seized.
This comes after a police operation in the CBD, or Central Business District.
According to Police Deputy Spokesman DANNY MWALE, the counterfeit shoes were seized as a result of complaints from the public.
