Shashmene Kenema’s head coach Zemariam woldegiorgis has been suspended for three months in the latest disciplinary sanctions announced by the League. The Ethiopian Premier League‘s disciplinarythe week 11 discipline case desicions.
The commitee explained that Zemariam was suspended for his comments on the league administration after his team latest game , a draw against Ethiopia Coffee. Zemariam was further fined the sum of 10,000 birr in addition to his suspension. The other disciplinary decisions confirmed include some top players with various infractions.
Alembirhna Yigzaw(Fasil Kenema), Yared Bayeh(Bahir Dar Kenema) and Yared Kassaye(Ethiopian Insurance) were all suspended for one game each for red cards they received in the week under reference. There were yet another group of players who were also suspended for a game each for accumulated cards
Sidama Coffee’s Git Gatcut and Wollayita Dicha’s Binyam Fikru were suspended for one match and fined 1 500 Birrs for being shown five yellow cards.
