State witness Zandile Khumalo will be back on the stand

The case against five men accused of killing Senzo Meyiwa resumes in the High Court in Pretoria. State witness Zandile Khumalo will be back on the stand. Last week, Khumalo refuted claims that a fight broke out between her and her then-boyfriend Longwe Twala on the night Senzo Meyiwa was killed.

The fight is believed to have led to Meyiwa being shot. The relationship between Meyiwa and her sister, Kelly, also came under scrutiny.

Lawyers read a message revealing that Khumalo was unhappy and regretted being with the soccer star. The defence teams are expected to argue that their clients were not involved in the crime and no intruders came into the Khumalo house the night Meyiwa was killed.

Azania Mosaka will replace Dineo Ranaka on Kaya FM, 2 weeks after she was sacked. According to Sunday World, Azania will be the new Afternoon Drive show host from August, replacing Sizwe Dhlomo who stood in for Dineo when she was off radio due to her mental health.

Dhlomo has reportedly moved to the breakfast slot, which was co-hosted by Ranaka and Sol Phenduka. Meanwhile, it’s also reported by a Twitter user that Mosaka is an ex-lover of Sizwe. Learn more
