In an effort to aid in the improvement of Zambia’s economy, the World Bank has promised to expand finance in specific industries.
However, according to Zambia’s newly appointed Country Director for the World Bank, NATHAN BELETE, increased funding would rely on how the nation responds and commits to reforms.
Speaking on a Special ZNBC Program that will air on Thursday at 20:00 on TV1, Mr. BELETE added that investing in the agriculture and energy sectors will assist improve job opportunities and the standard of living for Zambians.
He also praised the government for its dedication to addressing climate change’s effects.
