Upright Parenting – Nalumango

Zambian parents have been urged to bring up their children morally and in accordance with Zambian values and principles, according to Vice President Mutale Nalumango.

According to Ms. Nalumango, God would punish parents who ignore their children, according to ZANIS.

When presenting baby hampers to newborns at the maternity ward of the University Teaching Hospital (UTH) in Lusaka, the Vice President made this statement.

Additionally, Ms. Nalumango gave baby gifts to newborns at the Levy Mwanawasa hospital. She asserted that it is the responsibility of every mother to see to the welfare of a kid.

Ms. Nalumango expressed her joy at being a member of the group commemorating the arrival of the new year’s infants and wished the moms and children good health as well as God’s protection.

The vice president urged women to choose nutritious foods that will aid in their children’s growth. She advised mothers to feed their infants traditional foods like sweet potato, soy bean, and groundnut porridge.

Ms. Nalumango pointed out that the Ministry of Health, an arm of the government, is promoting nutritious traditional indigenous foods for kids.

On her visit to Levy Mwanawasa general hospital and University Teaching Hospital to give out hampers to the new year newborns, the Vice President was accompanied by Lusaka Province Minister Sheal Mulyata, Mayor Chilando Chitangala, and other top government officials.
