The Citizens Economic Empowerment Commission (CEEC) has begun the verification process for applicants nationwide for marketing booster loans.
According to MICHELO MUKATA, the public relations manager for CEEC, over 10,000 applicants have already been validated in the Copperbelt Province, while loan disbursement has already begun in the Kabwe Central Province.
According to Mr. MUKATA, the nationwide verification effort is being carried out in cooperation with several important partners, including local authorities.
He continues by saying that the Commission is also collaborating with two mobile money service providers who are checking to see if the information provided by applicants matches the information on their mobile money accounts.
