A 28-year-old lady named Dorcas Nachibona of Emmasdale Site and Service, who was discovered tied to a tree at the Freedom Statue, is being held by police in Lusaka.
Ms. Nachibona was discovered naked and intoxicated, police deputy spokesperson Danny Mwale said in a statement.
“She was found today at the Freedom Statue about 6:00 am by a member of the public who afterwards alerted the Police,” he said.
According to Mr. Mwale, Ms. Nachibona admitted during an interview that she spent the entire night drinking with a female acquaintance that she was unable to identify.
He claimed that since then, police had launched inquiries into the situation.
