Zambia is one of the shining examples of democracies, according to MIGUEL CARDONA, secretary of education for the United States of America. This is proven by the country’s peaceful changes of power.
According to Dr. CARDONA, democracy produces inclusive economic growth, optimism for change, and opportunities for society to improve.
Democracy, according to STANELY KAKUBO, minister of foreign affairs and international business, gives people power and opens doors for everyone.
Even though Zambia has many difficulties, according to Mr. KAKUBO, it has maintained its commitment to democratic values.
The Minister claimed that as a result of millions of people participating in collective decision-making through the electoral system, the idea of democracy has gained ground over time.
