About 5.4 billion Kwacha will be distributed to more than 150,000 members of the Zambia National Provident Fund, according to Labour Minister BRENDA TAMBATAMBA.
According to Ms. TAMBATAMBA, this is in accordance with the new law that President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA just approved and is intended to help those who were members of the now-defunct ZNPF.
The Minister also mentions the impending partial withdrawal of benefits from the National Pension Scheme for the majority of subscribers.
This was stated by Ms. Tabatambo in a speech delivered at the Basic Education Teachers Union of Zambia’s sixth quadrennial congress in Livingstone by Acting Labour Permanent Secretary ZACHARIAH LUHANGA.
