The Hollywoodbets Durban July takes place on Saturday, 1 July 2023, at the Greyville Racecourse and all roads are leading to the Hollywoodbets Durban July this weekend. The annual affair is considered the premier horse-raising and fashion event in South Africa.

And joining revelers are a host of Mzansi’s famous faces.

According to the official site, this year’s theme is “Out Of This World.” A description of the theme reads:

“Other planets out there

Inspiringly colourful too

Your imagination will run wild

Focus on what suits you”

The Durban July – under the new sponsorship of Hollywoodbets for the second consecutive year – is expected to attract a multitude of celebrities to the event.

Here’s who you can expect to see:

Sithelo Shozi

The DJ and Masked SA judge will be hosting the Premium Lifestyle Marquee. She will be joined by Metro FM judge Tbo Touch.

Somizi

The TV and radio presenter will be a special guest at Tira’s Afrotainment Marquee.

Bongani Mohosana, aka Morda, will be one of many DJs spinning the decks at the Metro FM Marquee.

The Limpopo singer – who is celebrating her 27th birthday on the eve of the event – will be seated in the Opulence Marquee.

Durban July veteran Pear Thusi will be hosting the Platinum Belt Marquee.
