According to Justice Minister MULAMBO HAIMBE, the government is eager to hasten the passage of the Access To Information (ATI) Law.

Mr. HAIMBE stated that the government has made strides in ensuring the rule of law is upheld during the official opening of the Civil Society Organization -CSO- Pre-summit for Democracy Conference in Lusaka.
JULIET CHIBUTA, a CSO representative to the Democracy Summit, asked the government to take additional steps to help the nation fulfill its obligations, including securing a free media and reestablishing the rule of law.
