A new survey revealed that most of the voters in the US do not have favourable opinions about CEO Meta Mark Zuckerberg and founder of Amazon and Blue Origin Jeff Bezos, reported Centre Daily Times.

The latest survey was conducted by The Tech Oversight Project in which 65% of registered voters have expressed that they do not hold favourable views about the 39-year-old Zuckerberg whose company owns Instagram and WhatsApp.

Similarly, at least 59% of people thought on the parallel lines about the 60-year-old Bezos, who plans to take humanity at the moon via his aerospace company Blue Origin.

However, 45% of people viewed Google CEO Sundar Pichai unfavourably, whereas the CEO of Apple Tim Cook secured a score of 44% for being negatively viewed by the people.

Sacha Haworth, executive director of The Tech Oversight Project, said: “As Americans continue to see the dangerous effects of social media platforms on youth, the creation of AI scams and harmful algorithms, and tech companies undermining national security by catering to China and Russia, it should come as no surprise that the American people do not have faith in the status quo of our digital lives.”

Various CEOs of the tech giants have been brought in by the Senate Committees about their potential role in undermining national security, data theft, and children’s safety issues. The report noted that the survey was carried out among 568 voters on March 26 and 27.
