She added that a wrapper (known as Chitenge) in Zambia was a valuable material used to redesign shoes and handbags, giving them that traditional touch.“I am a special effects and beauty makeup artist. I also do costume in film aside from makeup, I do wardrobe. This is where I dress actors or comeup with outfits for people in the cast of that particular production I’m working on,” she said.

I worked on my first film production as a makeup artist in December 2020 from that time till now I have been called to work on various film productions” she said.

She hinted that she derives her interest from watching horror movies.

The award winner admitted that special effects makeup was lucrative, especially if she was given opportunity to work with a big film production company.

“My plans for the next five years is to work on Hollywood movies and become one of the best makeup artists in the world. I want to become a prosthetic makeup artist, i really want to work on horror and thriller movies,” she said. She advised young artists like her not to give up, as the road in the art industry was never smooth, but that with hard work and determination, not even the sky would be a limit.
