Top golfer Wemba considers a safari tour in Kenya

SYDNEY WEMBA, the top-seeded golfer from Zambia, will compete in the 2023 safari tour this month in Kenya.

According to WEMBA, the trip to Kenya is crucial since it will enable him to earn the points necessary for him to participate in important tournaments this year.

Given his success in 2022, he said he wants to start his season strong because it will affect how his game develops.

The current ZANACO Masters local champion says he plans to retain his championship this year and also put up a fight for the international crown.

In an interview with ZNBC Sports News, WEMBA expressed his excitement for the return of the international Sunshine tour, known as the ZANACO Masters, which will take place in May at the Lusaka golf club.

He claims that a Zambian challenger for the renowned title is long overdue.

The international Sunshine tour will feature over 144 golfers, with 30 spots set aside for players from Zambia.
