10,000 teachers To receive training in digital literacy

A Memorandum of Understanding between Smart Zambia and NETONE calls for the training of 10,000 teachers in digital literacy.

BEJOY NETTIKADAN, Chief Executive Officer of NETONE, stated during the signing ceremony in Lusaka that the program’s start date is May 1 and that it can be finished in a year.

The agreement, according to Mr. NETTIKADAN, intends to make digital gadgets more accessible at a reasonable price.

In the meantime, PERCY CHINYAMA, the national coordinator for Smart Zambia, stated that the government intends to use the signed MOU to boost the delivery of education utilizing ICT platforms in accordance with the 8th National Development Plan.
