In the next five years, the government wants to sponsor 25,000 children to enroll in diploma programs with the help of cooperating partners.
Five thousand young people will be sponsored annually to train in various diploma fields through the community skills scholarship program, according to Youth, Sport, and Arts Minister ELVIS NKANDU.
According to Mr. Nkandu, his ministry has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the International Coalition of Fellowships to sponsor 500 young people per province annually to enroll in diploma programs. This agreement is a collaboration between his ministry and the Ministry of Community Development and Social Services.
He has urged young people to benefit from the program and sign up in order to pursue their ideal careers.
The program, according to Mr. Nkandu, is adaptable since it can accommodate both full-time and part-time programs.
According to him, the District Commissioner’s office has access to the application forms, and complete applications for the 2023 academic year must be filed no later than December 20.
