SITALI ALIBUZWI, the commander of the Zambian Army, has recognized and given awards to 29 officers and troops for their excellent service to the Army.
The women were recognized for their leadership, accomplishments in academia and the workplace, and service to the Army.
According to General ALIBUZWI, women make a significant contribution to the Zambian Army and should be recognized for their outstanding contributions to the country.
The Army Commander announced this during the award-giving event in Lusaka.
Meanwhile, retired Major SARAH CHOKOLE, who is among those decorated for her exemplary service in the army, thanked the army Command for the recognition.
