482 Obtain mining permits
Since Tuesday, the cadastre division of the ministry of mines has registered 482 mining licenses.
The response is enormous, according to SAMUEL MAANGO, director of the mines caderstre department, who spoke to ZNBC News.
Following the discovery of several minerals in the nation, he claims that many Zambians have expressed a great deal of interest in entering the mining industry.
While foreigners have historically been interested in mining in Zambia, according to Mr. MAANGO, local residents currently make up the bulk of applications.
Senior JORDAN MBULO also claimed that the country will profit from the current mining industry order.
