Building Of The Palace Will Be Completed In 2019

According to MAAMBO HAMAUNDU, the Permanent Secretary for Local Government and Rural Development, the ministry intends to finish the Chiefs palaces currently under construction by the end of the next year.

Thirty-three palaces are now being built, according to Mr. HAMAUNDU, although only thirteen have been finished and delivered.

He has asked the traditional leaders of those communities to locate suitable plots of land.

In an interview with ZNBC News, Mr. HAMAUNDU also urged the populace to take part in the building of palaces in order to preserve the nation’s history and culture.
