This is a first for Southern Africa in its field.

And Ministry of Technology and Science Permanent Secretary BRILLIANT HABEENZU is glad that construction activities would start shortly.

After ordering the project’s construction, Dr. HABEENZU gave a ZNBC News interview at Copperbelt University CBU in Kitwe.

Professor PAUL CHISALA, acting vice chancellor of CBU, commended the government for selecting the university for such a significant initiative.

The facility will be able to perform mineral research, according to MWANSA CHABALA, Leader for Center of Excellence and Sustainable Mining.
