Chief Chiwala: If We Grow More, Food Prices Will Drop

According to Senior Chief CHIWALA of Ndola, Zambians would only be able to produce enough food for both domestic use and export if they cultivate enough of it.

For the prices of goods like mealie meal and cooking oil to decrease, he advises individuals to seriously consider farming and produce adequate crops like maize and soy beans.

According to the Chief, each individual citizen should support government by fostering a work-ethic.

The traditional chief claims that his followers are encouraged to start their own farms and are appreciative of the government’s prompt delivery of urea fertilizer.

According to Senior Chief CHIWALA, his people are optimistic that the government will make an effort to fix the issues that interfered with the distribution of seed and D compound fertilizer during the upcoming farming season.

When representatives from the Export Trading Group (ETG) company paid him a courtesy call, he remarked this.

Additionally, ETG Sales Manager SIANKONI ZULU stated that his organization had surpassed its goal of providing the residents of Masaiti with more than 1,000 metric tonnes of urea on time.

He said that the business has already delivered 14,000 metric tonnes of urea fertilizer at the provincial level.
