Contamination Of Boreholes Due To Floods

In some areas of the country, boreholes have become poisoned as a result of floods that damaged numerous villages.

A team from the ministry has reportedly been sent to investigate the levels of contamination in the impacted areas, according to Water Development Minister MIKE MPOSHA.

According to Mr. MPOSHA, the Ministry has begun supplying impacted communities with safe and clean drinking water.

According to Mr. MPOSHA, the Ministry has now sent water bowsers to impacted areas through the Disaster Management and Mitigation Unit, or DMMU, according to an interview with ZNBC news.

The Minister continued by saying that the government has also dispatched vacuum tankers to remove floodwater and feces from impacted regions.
