Due to the 385 documented instances of misconduct, the Examinations Council of Zambia (ECZ) has withheld the results for the GCE exams that took place in July and August.
The number of instances reported is high, according to ECZ Public Relations Manager NICHOLAS NKHUWA, hence the results are being withheld.
According to Mr. NKHUWA, the ECZ won’t make the results public until all malpractice cases have been resolved.
According to him, the purpose of withholding the results is not to harm the candidates who took the test but rather to ensure that the system is effectively managed to support free and fair testing.
