FAZ will establish a coaching school

The Croatian Football Association has agreed to support the Football Association of Zambia’s (FAZ) efforts to establish a coaching school.

This, according to FAZ Deputy Secretary General JOSEPH CHIPAMPWE, is intended to raise the bar for local coaches.

Plans, according to Mr. CHIPAMPWE, are in the works, and once all conditions have been met, construction will start.

He claims that a Memorandum of Understanding has already been signed between FAZ and the Croatian Football Association.

Mr. CHIPAMPWE revealed in a Lusaka interview.

DANNY KABWE, the president of the Zambia Association of Football Coaches, has praised the decision and stated that it will strengthen the association’s efforts to develop the abilities of local coaches.

According to Mr. KABWE, the move will help lower the expense of sending coaches abroad for training.
