Everything is prepared for this Saturday’s 2023 National Sports Games Festival for Athletes with Disabilities at the OYDC Sports Development Center.
All provinces will be represented, according to Special Olympics Zambia’s acting sports coordinator SHADRICK KAPUTA, who believes that planning has gone smoothly.
According to KAPUTA, a squad that will represent Zambia at the Special Olympics World Games, which will be held in Germany in June of this year, will also be chosen at the games.
He has said in an interview that the national championships will feature a diversity of young athletes and provide them with a forum for interaction and a sense of belonging to society.
With assistance from the Ministry of Sports and other stakeholders, according to KAPUTA, the committee has made all the required preparations.
