Former Chipolopolo star was killed by his own dogs

PHILEMON MULALA, a former Chipolopolo and Mufulira Wanderers striker, has passed away.

MULALA passed away on Sunday, January 8th in South Africa after being attacked by his dogs.

The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has also expressed its sorrow over MULALA’s demise.

MULALA was a key member of the squad that won the 1984 East and Central Africa Challenge under Colonel BRIGHTWELL BANDA, according to FAZ General Secretary ADRIAN KASHALA.

Today’s players can learn a lot from the KK11 generation, according to KASHALA in a statement read on his behalf by FAZ Communications Manager SYDNEY MUNGALA.

MULALA has been dubbed a marvel to see by football analyst MUSONDA CHIBULU due to his dribbling abilities.

MULALA, according to CHIBULU, had a significant impact on Mufulira Wanderers being one of the most successful clubs of his era, and his contributions to the national team speak for themselves.
